Intermodal Operations Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing intermodal service, the full-time Intermodal Operations Representative will cultivate customer relationships, manage communications, and coordinate logistics operations remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate strong, service-oriented relationships with customers, vendors, and drayage carriers
• Serve as the central point of contact for customer communications, focusing on service requests and issue resolution
• Monitor and coordinate first and last-mile pickup and delivery activities to ensure on-time performance

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in intermodal, truckload, or drayage logistics
• Deep understanding of transport dynamics, including first/last mile constraints
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to transportation management systems
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus
• Resourceful problem-solver with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
