Internal Mortgage Claims Analyst
Job Summary
To support the management of mortgage claims, the full-time Internal Mortgage Claims Analyst will focus on reconciling claims filed with FHA, VA, and USDA, auditing FHA claims for the GNMA portfolio, and ensuring compliance with investor and insurer guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Protect assets by reconciling claims and auditing FHA claims for the GNMA portfolio
- Track claim findings and report to management while expediting claims processing
- Review claims for recoverability and document steps to assist with loss recovery
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 4+ years of experience in default mortgage servicing and/or the legal field
- Strong knowledge of mortgage banking and claims processes, including familiarity with RESPA and FDCPA
- LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) experience preferred
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to audit and analyze work outputs
