Job Summary
Leading the global movement of raw materials and finished goods, the full-time International Freight Manager will oversee international transportation operations, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and optimizing logistics strategies across various transportation modes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end international transportation operations for global imports and exports, including ocean, air, and cross-border activities
- Develop strategic partnerships with freight forwarders and carriers while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade policies
- Analyze transportation costs and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support budget management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Transportation, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in international transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade compliance
- Experience with ERP and transportation management systems
- Preferred certifications include APICS, CSCMP, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP
