Inventory Planning Manager
Job Summary
Owning the governance of inventory policy, the full-time Inventory Planning & Control Manager will optimize global inventory levels and improve cash flow while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity if local to Buffalo, NY.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and monitor inventory management processes to support on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels
- Represent inventory within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, providing projections and risk assessments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing inventory costs and enhancing customer service performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in inventory analysis, financial analysis, or statistical/data reporting
- Working knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and inventory control concepts
- Experience using ERP and MRP systems, with SAP preferred
- Ability to analyze variances and implement corrective actions effectively
