Investment Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting investment accounting and financial reporting, the full-time salaried Investment Accountant will manage monthly and annual accounting close processes, ensure data quality, and collaborate with various departments to maintain strong financial controls and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support GAAP and Statutory financial reporting processes, preparing disclosures and variance analyses
• Monitor data quality and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and decision-making

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Relevant work experience in public accounting, insurance, or finance preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles; Statutory accounting knowledge preferred
• Experience with financial close processes and internal controls
