Investment Associate - Alternative Strategies

Job Summary

Partnering with the VP - Alternative Investments, the full-time salaried Investment Associate - Alternative Strategies will support manager selection, monitoring, reporting, and operational activities across Alternatives and Non-Core portfolios, with the option to work remotely for East Coast candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor external managers and investments, delivering regular performance analysis and maintaining scorecards
• Conduct due diligence on current and prospective managers, contributing to investment recommendations and memoranda
• Prepare and enhance quarterly reporting materials for senior management and ensure accurate data management across systems

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in an institutional investment role focused on due diligence and monitoring of external managers
• Experience within an insurance company environment is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
• Progress toward the CFA and/or CAIA designation is preferred
• Solid understanding of alternative asset classes and proficiency in Excel modeling and data analysis
