Investor Accountant I

Job Summary

Ensuring timely and accurate reporting for mortgage investors, the full-time Investor Accountant I will generate monthly accounting reports, prepare and remit funds related to loan activity, and perform complex reconciliations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Generate required monthly accounting reports for assigned investors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines
• Prepare reports and remit funds associated with monthly loan activity, payoffs, and other events according to contractual due dates
• Complete complex bank account and cash reconciliations, resolving any exceptions in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent math skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with internal and external audiences
