Investor Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Investor Suspense Underwriting Analyst will manage investor stipulations, resolve loan defects, and collaborate with a large team to improve manufacturing quality across various loan products.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve defects and ensure timely loan purchases by collaborating with Suspense Specialists and Investors
• Analyze suspense trends and provide recommendations to enhance manufacturing quality
• Review loan documents for accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum five years' experience in underwriting various loan types, including conventional, FHA, and VA loans
• Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and third-party software applications
• Ability to think critically and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
