Job Summary
Owning the iOS mobile roadmap, the full-time remote iOS Engineer (Canada) will identify high-impact engineering initiatives, define the technical vision for the mobile platform, and mentor senior engineers while collaborating closely with product and engineering management.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and own high-complexity engineering initiatives across multiple teams
- Define the one-to-two-year technical vision for the mobile platform, including architecture and roadmap investments
- Partner with product and engineering management to drive product strategy and execution based on user understanding and metrics
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in iOS development or related roles
- Expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and iOS frameworks
- Track record of shipping high-quality mobile experiences
- Experience in 0-to-1 environments, focusing on new product development
- Fluency with AI coding tools and strong product instincts regarding user experience
