IOT Lab Test Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting 5G/4G lab IOT activities, the remote IOT Lab Test Engineer will participate in feature validation, develop test scripts, and conduct RF testing while collaborating with various infrastructure vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in new 5G/4G feature validation and testing in a lab environment
- Develop test plans and automation scripts for 5G/4G features, including RF testing
- Support lab and field testing activities, including log analysis and bug tracking
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2-7 years of experience in wireless communication
- Hands-on experience with 5G/4G lab IOT testing on network infrastructure from vendors like Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung
- Deep understanding of modem protocol layers (L1, MAC, RRC, PDCP) for LTE/5G
- Experience with mobile device testing using KeySight/Anritsu/R&S test equipment
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA
