IOT Lab Test Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting 5G/4G lab IOT activities, the remote IOT Lab Test Engineer will participate in feature validation, test planning, and automation while working on modem power measurement and benchmarking.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct 5G/4G feature validation in a lab environment using network emulators
- Develop and automate test scripts for 5G/4G features and perform RF testing
- Analyze logs and execute tests to reproduce customer and field issues
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2-7 years of experience in wireless communication
- Hands-on experience with 5G/4G lab IOT testing on infrastructure from vendors like Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung
- Deep understanding of modem protocol layer stacks, including L1, MAC, RRC, and PDCP for LTE/5G
- Experience with mobile device testing using KeySight/Anritsu/R&S test equipment
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and knowledge of 3GPP RAN test specifications
