Iowa Admissions Advisor

Job Summary

Serving as the first point of contact for students applying to study abroad programs, the remote Iowa Admissions Advisor will provide expert guidance on program options, manage communications, and support campus engagement initiatives in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on appropriate CIEE programs based on their academic interests and eligibility
• Manage high volumes of communication and provide individualized support throughout the application process
• Organize and host information sessions and events to raise awareness about CIEE programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
• Experience in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-oriented field
• Study abroad experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to use technology to improve performance
