Iowa Licensed Records Manager
Job Summary
To support the Air National Guard's credentialing efforts, the full-time Iowa Licensed Records Manager will manage healthcare-provider credentialing and recredentialing applications remotely, ensuring compliance with military health systems and maintaining accurate provider records.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing and privileging processes for healthcare providers in accordance with National Guard Bureau guidance
- Maintain up-to-date records for credentialed providers, including monitoring expirations and processing applications
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure compliance with relevant military health regulations and quality management programs
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical/health systems, preferably within a Military Health Systems environment
- At least 1 year of experience in credentialing management for military healthcare providers
- Knowledge of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 44-119 and Defense Health Agency (DHA) credentialing guidance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office/data automation tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Health Services Administration or Credentialing training
