Job Summary
To provide individualized nursing care to residents, the part-time PRN Iowa Licensed Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care
- Coordinate care and educate residents while collaborating with families and healthcare providers
- Serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to assistive personnel and ensuring safe administration of care
Required qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure if applicable
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
