Iowa Licensed Utilization Management RN
Job Summary
To support efficient healthcare delivery, the remote Iowa Licensed Utilization Management RN will assess member needs, determine the appropriateness of services, and provide solutions for complex issues while working full-time from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time.
Key responsibilities:
- Determine the appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient services based on medical guidelines and benefit determinations
- Identify solutions to non-standard requests and complex problems, acting as a resource for others
- Translate healthcare concepts into practice, ensuring efficient service delivery and member support
Required qualifications:
- Current unrestricted RN licensure in the state of residence
- 3+ years of Managed Care and/or Clinical experience
- 1+ years of fertility experience
- Proven computer proficiency, including strong data entry skills
- Willingness to work core hours of 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST
