ISSO/RMF Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing federal technology organization, the remote ISSO/RMF Engineer will manage RMF activities, create and maintain eMASS records, and translate technical implementations into NIST/RMF security control language while ensuring compliance and security authorization for modern cloud applications.
Key responsibilities
- Execute RMF activities from system categorization through ATO and continuous monitoring
- Create and maintain eMASS records, including security controls and supporting documentation
- Guide customers through RMF requirements and support system owners in achieving ATO
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in information systems security, cybersecurity, or related fields
- Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with RMF and eMASS
- Demonstrated experience supporting systems through the RMF lifecycle and ATO process
- Experience with cloud technologies, containerized applications, and modern enterprise infrastructure
