IT Asset Management Specialist

Job Summary

To address a significant backlog of work, the contract IT Asset Management Specialist will manage IT asset data cleanup using Jira, oversee licensing and procurement through Value-Added Resellers, and propose process improvements while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute IT asset data cleanup tasks within Jira, managing the entire asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal
• Track and manage software licenses and hardware procurement in collaboration with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to ensure compliance
• Identify and propose improvements to Jira-based ITAM/ITSM workflows and perform regular audits to maintain data integrity

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in IT Asset Management
• Extensive hands-on experience using Jira as the primary ITAM and ITSM tool
• Direct experience working with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for licensing and procurement
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Solid knowledge of asset inventory and discovery processes
