IT Automation Specialist
Job Summary
Leading infrastructure automation initiatives, the remote IT Automation Specialist will design, implement, and maintain scalable automation solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and advanced DevOps platforms on a 6-month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for cloud and on-premises infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and OpenTofu
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and application deployment across various environments
- Architect and optimize Ansible Tower/AWX implementations for enterprise-scale automation, including RBAC and workflow orchestration
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform and/or OpenTofu
- Advanced expertise in Ansible with experience in designing and maintaining Ansible Tower or AWX
- Strong Python programming skills for writing custom modules and automation scripts
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
