Job Summary
Driving sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services, the full-time IT Category Manager will develop and implement global category strategies, manage the sourcing process, and build supplier relationships while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement global category strategies for assigned IT categories
- Lead and manage the entire sourcing process, including RFI/RFP development and contract finalization
- Build and maintain relationships with key IT suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in IT procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing within a large organization
- Proven track record of negotiating complex IT contracts and delivering cost savings
- Strong understanding of IT hardware, software licensing models, and cloud services
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle)
