IT Cloud Security Administrator

Job Summary

As the first dedicated IT Cloud Security Administrator in a fully remote capacity, this role will manage IT operations, administer Microsoft 365 and AWS environments, and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to protect sensitive company data.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee IT support, addressing hardware and software issues while maintaining asset inventory
• Administer Microsoft 365 and AWS environments, ensuring secure access and compliance with organizational policies
• Monitor security alerts and manage incident response, enforcing cybersecurity protocols across all endpoints

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT administration or systems support experience, preferably in a small company or startup
• Experience administering AWS, including IAM, EC2, and S3, as well as Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Proven ability to support remote and distributed teams effectively
• Hands-on experience with security fundamentals like identity management and incident response
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance if required
