IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

To oversee the company's cybersecurity control program and manage the performance of the managed service provider (MSP), the full-time remote IT Compliance Manager will maintain compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, administer the GRC platform, and ensure effective vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and map the company's control set to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions: Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover
• Administer the Vanta GRC platform, including control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation tracking
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for the MSP, managing day-to-day service delivery expectations and performance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, IT audit, or IT governance, with direct responsibility for a control program
• Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)
• Experience administering a GRC or compliance automation platform (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe)
• Familiarity with core IT controls such as identity and access management and vulnerability management
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
