IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time IT Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will build and manage the company's cybersecurity control program while overseeing the performance of the managed service provider (MSP) responsible for daily IT operations, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions: Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover
• Administer the Vanta GRC platform, including control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation tracking
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for the MSP, managing escalations, service delivery expectations, and contract lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, IT audit, or IT governance, with at least two years directly responsible for a control program
• Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
• Experience administering a GRC or compliance automation platform like Vanta or equivalent
• Working knowledge of core IT controls, including identity and access management and vulnerability management
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
