IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

To oversee the company's cybersecurity control program and manage the performance of its managed service provider (MSP), the full-time remote IT Compliance Manager will maintain compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and ensure adherence to security and data-handling requirements in a regulated transportation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions: Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover
• Administer the Vanta GRC platform, including control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation tracking
• Manage the MSP relationship, including service delivery expectations, contract lifecycle, and performance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, IT audit, or IT governance
• Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001
• Experience administering a GRC or compliance automation platform
• Knowledge of core IT controls and ability to critically read SOC 2 Type II reports
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
