Job Summary
To oversee the cybersecurity control program and manage the performance of a managed service provider, the full-time remote IT Compliance Manager will maintain compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, administer the Vanta GRC platform, and ensure effective vendor management.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions
- Administer the Vanta GRC platform for control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation tracking
- Manage the relationship with the managed service provider, including service delivery expectations and contractual obligations
Required qualifications
- Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, IT audit, or IT governance
- Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
- Experience with GRC or compliance automation platforms like Vanta or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage outsourced IT providers and monitor service levels
- Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
