IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time IT Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will build and manage the company's cybersecurity control program while overseeing the performance of a managed service provider (MSP) in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 and administer the Vanta GRC platform
• Perform periodic control testing, manage the policy lifecycle, and maintain the enterprise risk register
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for the MSP, overseeing service delivery and monitoring contracted service levels

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, or IT audit, with at least two years managing a control program
• Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.) and GRC platforms
• Experience managing an outsourced IT provider, including service level monitoring
• Ability to critically read and analyze SOC 2 Type II reports and similar documentation
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
