IT Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IT & Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage IT infrastructure and lead cybersecurity and privacy compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with global regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain core IT systems, including endpoint management and SaaS tooling
• Conduct gap assessments and manage compliance programs related to security and privacy regulations
• Administer compliance tools to automate monitoring and facilitate employee training programs

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT administration or a combined IT/security role
• 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining SOC 2 certification
• 3+ years of experience with HIPAA, GDPR, and other global privacy frameworks
• Hands-on experience with compliance tools such as Vanta or similar platforms
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are a plus
