IT Cybersecurity Consultant
Job Summary
To support critical evaluations in mergers and acquisitions, the contracted IT Cybersecurity Due Diligence Consultant will assess target systems for compliance and security risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Inventory and audit IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments for compliance and hidden costs
- Assess cybersecurity controls and incident history, focusing on operational technology and industrial control system security
- Plan IT readiness and lead systems integration and cybersecurity remediation post-acquisition
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in IT leadership, IT advisory, or cybersecurity, with experience in M&A or carve-outs
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
- Ability to translate technical risks into cost and timeline recommendations
