IT Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic healthcare enterprise, the contract IT Data Engineer will develop and enhance HL7 interfaces, design interoperability workflows, and perform message analysis while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support HL7 v2.x interfaces in Epic Bridges and integration engines
- Design and build Epic Bridges interfaces and related interoperability workflows
- Perform message analysis, mapping, and troubleshooting for HL7 message types and resolve interface failures independently
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with Epic Bridges and integration engines such as Cloverleaf and Rhapsody
- Proficiency in HL7 standards and healthcare IT
- Knowledge of programming languages such as .NET, Java, or Python
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure data exchange practices
