IT Engineer
Job Summary
To support an established organization in the networking and technology services industry, the remote IT Engineer will manage customer onboarding and activation sessions, assist with virtual machine implementations, and guide clients through technical requirements during a 3-month contract position.
Key responsibilities
- Lead customer onboarding and activation sessions, collaborating with customer IT teams to deploy and configure platform integrations
- Assist with the implementation of virtual machine-based collectors and telemetry solutions within customer network environments
- Troubleshoot onboarding challenges and coordinate issue resolution while ensuring a positive customer experience
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in networking, technical support, or a related technology-focused role
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall policies
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as CVEs and software hardening practices
- Experience communicating technical concepts to customers and conducting training sessions
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
