IT Operations and Security Lead

Job Summary

Owning Zen's internal IT systems and security, the full-time IT Operations and Security Lead will manage identity and access, SaaS governance, and security policies while working remotely within the US CT/ET time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated workflows for identity and access management, ensuring efficient onboarding, movement, and offboarding of users
• Establish a comprehensive view of software and service usage, managing licenses and renewals to optimize costs and usage
• Create and enforce IT and security policies, translating them into actionable processes and training for the organization

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in IT operations and security, particularly in a growing organization
• Hands-on expertise in identity and access management, endpoint management, and automation
• Familiarity with SaaS governance, vendor management, and compliance certifications
• Strong understanding of security principles and the ability to apply them proportionately to business needs
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive IT and security initiatives
