IT Operations Lead

Job Summary

As the operational leader for IT execution, the full-time remote IT Operations Lead will manage the architecture and security of Microsoft Entra ID, oversee endpoint platforms, and mentor IT staff while translating strategy into actionable projects for a distributed workforce of approximately 230 team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate CSTO-set strategy into projects and tasks, managing work sequencing and status tracking
• Own Entra ID architecture and privileged access, implementing security measures and managing identity lifecycle
• Serve as the final technical escalation point for identity, endpoint, and SaaS incidents, driving root cause analysis and permanent fixes

Required Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years in systems engineering or senior IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years of hands-on Microsoft Entra ID experience
• Expert-level skills with Conditional Access, PIM, authentication methods, and SAML/OIDC federation
• Strong automation skills with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell; experience with Python or Bash is a plus
• Experience implementing technical controls for compliance frameworks such as CMMC Level 2 or SOC 2
• Proven track record of executing against defined strategies and driving cross-functional projects to completion
