IT-OT Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote IT/OT Security Engineer & Incident Response Manager, the successful candidate will lead incident response during business hours, manage security engineering tasks, and coordinate with IT and OT teams to ensure robust security across corporate, cloud, and manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the incident lead and Incident Commander during cyber events, coordinating resolution efforts across teams
• Administer endpoint detection and response tools, driving vulnerability remediation and tracking service level agreements
• Own secure remote access for vendors, maintain OT segmentation and firewall rules, and support secure architecture for manufacturing systems

Required qualifications

• Fundamentals of OT/industrial security, including secure remote access and ISA/IEC 62443 standards
• Proven experience leading incident response efforts during cyber events
• Hands-on experience with endpoint detection and response and vulnerability management tools
• Basic knowledge of cloud and identity security, particularly with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Experience in a manufacturing or food-production environment is preferred
