IT Principal Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of complex enterprise-wide clinical applications, the full-time remote IT Principal Engineer will drive technical strategy, mentor developers, and ensure the implementation of scalable and innovative technology solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction for enterprise software engineering initiatives and complex web application development
- Establish technical standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices while mentoring junior and senior developers
- Evaluate emerging technologies and lead complex technical initiatives across multiple development teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, particularly in developing enterprise applications
- Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, DevOps principles, and modern application deployment strategies
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and provide direction to onshore and offshore development teams
