Job Summary
As a remote IT Procurement Analyst, the successful candidate will manage sourcing strategies, analyze technical bills of materials, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams to secure competitive pricing and enhance project profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze technical bills of materials to determine optimal sourcing strategies, balancing cost and availability
- Solicit and validate quotes from OEMs and distributors to secure competitive pricing
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers while managing a high volume of concurrent quote requests
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in IT product quoting, procurement, or a related role in the IT/technology industry
- Strong familiarity with major OEMs and national distributors
- Practical knowledge of deal registration and competitive pricing processes
- Proficiency with quoting/CRM platforms and Microsoft Excel
