IT Project Manager
Job Summary
Supporting IT investment management for the CDC, the full-time remote IT Project Manager will monitor project performance, consult on the Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC), and coordinate governance activities while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance data for CDC IT investments, providing actionable reports to leadership
- Consult with project teams on EPLC requirements and track necessary documentation and decisions
- Serve as secretariat for the CDC IT governance council, maintaining schedules, drafting agendas, and tracking action items
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of IT project or program management experience, preferably with CDC or federal IT portfolio management
- Working knowledge of CPIC processes and federal IT project management practices
- Experience in tracking cost and schedule performance and writing status reports for senior leaders
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Tier 2 Moderate-Risk Public Trust background investigation
