IT Project Manager
Job Summary
Leading the planning and delivery of a .NET web portal, the contract IT Project Manager will oversee project execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation in the insurance domain.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps while tracking progress and providing status reports
- Coordinate with UI/UX designers and stakeholders to define portal functionality and ensure user-friendly web interfaces
Required qualifications
- Experience in the Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance claims domain
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7-10+ years of experience in IT or software delivery, including 5+ years managing technical projects
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and modern web application architecture
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing UI/UX design activities
