Job Summary
To support federal proposal efforts, the full-time IT Proposal Writer will create compelling narratives for RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations while coordinating input from technical experts and managing the proposal response process remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary writer for assigned proposals, integrating technical and management narratives while shaping response strategy
- Own the execution of proposal responses from planning through submission, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements and deadlines
- Utilize AI-supported tools to enhance proposal drafting, editing, and review processes while maintaining quality and consistency
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of federal proposal writing experience, specifically for IT services and software development
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
- Experience with structured proposal practices, including compliance mapping and color reviews
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
