IT R&D Technical Lead
Job Summary
To support clinical operations, the remote contract IT R&D Technical Lead will manage the Veeva Vault Clinical platform, serving as the primary technical contact while optimizing system enhancements and overseeing project deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with clinical operations stakeholders to understand goals and priorities, shaping the clinical systems roadmap
- Act as the technical subject matter expert, assessing incoming requests and organizing the backlog for sprint planning
- Oversee projects end-to-end, coordinating deployments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience supporting clinical R&D information systems in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry
- Hands-on experience with the Veeva Vault Clinical Operations suite, specifically eTMF, CTMS, and Payments
- Solid understanding of GCP-regulated systems and experience delivering within a regulated SDLC
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution
