IT Risk Principal

Job Summary

To support the BT Risk Management team, the full-time remote IT Risk Principal will manage technology governance, compliance, and risk programs, collaborating with various business units to assess security issues and implement remediation actions.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally to design and launch initiatives that promote governance, risk, and compliance awareness
• Build partnerships with business leaders and security partners to foster a collaborative environment
• Establish Outcome-Driven Metrics (ODMs) to measure and refine the effectiveness of culture transformation programs

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives and frameworks
• Expert-level understanding of audit compliance and organizational audit strategies
• Deep knowledge of Cyber Security Governance frameworks and the ability to implement enterprise-wide programs
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Information Security, or a related discipline; a Master's degree preferred
• Proven ability to build and maintain influential relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders
