IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day operation of the company's cybersecurity environment, the full-time remote IT Security Analyst will manage security monitoring, assist with incident response, and maintain security tools and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and perform initial triage, documenting findings and escalating issues as necessary
• Administer and configure cybersecurity tools, troubleshoot issues, and maintain related documentation
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking, ensuring identified security issues are addressed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-3+ years in information technology or cybersecurity, including security operations or administration
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, and vulnerability management platforms
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux systems, networking, and cloud services
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability management, and incident response practices
