IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance data protection and compliance, the full-time IT Security Analyst II will manage security measures, conduct audits, and support risk assessments in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement security measures for information systems to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and security controls
• Manage security tools and systems, including EDR, SIEM, firewalls, and vulnerability management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in IT or a technical-related position
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, HITRUST, and HIPAA
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems
• Familiarity with internal audit processes and compliance assessments like SOC and HITRUST
