IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

Available for evening shifts, the full-time IT Security Analyst will manage security event monitoring and incident response ticket queues, ensuring timely triage while working remotely from 4pm to 1am EST.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security event monitoring and incident response ticket queues, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
• Analyze system, security, and application logs to diagnose faults and identify potential threats
• Translate cybersecurity concepts into understandable terms for clients and provide detailed reports on security metrics

Required qualifications

• Two years of experience in Information Security or related fields
• One of the following certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA, C|EH, SSCP, or equivalent
• Experience with SIEM platforms, firewall management, and endpoint detection and response tools
• One year or more of experience with EDR solutions and vulnerability management
• Availability to work from 4pm to 1am EST
