IT Security Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the IT/security team in a full-time remote capacity, the IT Security Analyst will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and enhance the organization's security posture through various tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events across network, endpoint, and cloud environments to identify suspicious activity and threats
- Investigate potential security incidents, including malware infections and unauthorized access attempts, while performing initial triage and prioritization of alerts
- Support phishing and security awareness programs by developing campaigns and training sessions for staff
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent self-directed learning
- 1-2 years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or related roles
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, KnowBe4, Cloudflare, and 1Password
