IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing security advisory team, the remote IT Security Analyst will provide security guidance, conduct risk assessments, and recommend security architecture solutions across diverse technology environments on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide security guidance during the planning, design, development, and implementation of technology solutions
• Conduct Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs) and threat modeling for applications and infrastructure
• Review and assess security controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience performing security assessments for applications, infrastructure, and network environments
• 3+ years of experience conducting Threat Risk Assessments and threat modeling across various environments
• 2+ years of experience in security architecture or implementation of security solutions
• Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory requirements and security compliance practices
• Experience reviewing vulnerability reports and assessing server hardening requirements
