IT Security Architect

Job Summary

To support a business carve-out and Azure tenant separation program, the remote contract IT Security Architect will define and implement the organization's information security strategy, establish governance frameworks, and ensure security is integrated into all transformation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the organization's information security strategy, policies, and control framework
• Own the security architecture for the new Azure tenant environment, implementing identity and access management controls
• Lead security oversight and assurance across technology workstreams involved in the separation program

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise information security programs
• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure security architecture and Zero Trust principles
• Proven experience with mergers, acquisitions, and tenant separation initiatives
• Experience establishing security governance and compliance frameworks
• Strong understanding of SOC operations and incident response
