IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the company's Information Security initiatives, the full-time remote IT Security Engineer will apply IT security principles and AI-powered tools to protect IT resources, enhance threat detection, and manage incident responses.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain configurations for IT security technologies and collaborate on network infrastructure modifications
• Develop and document security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct security assessments and lead vulnerability management efforts, utilizing AI tools for threat detection

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; BS in Information Technology or equivalent technical discipline preferred
• Three to five years of direct Cyber Engineer or information assurance experience
• Strong experience with vulnerability assessment tools and AI-powered security platforms
• Experience with network security, firewall configurations, and policy documentation
• Practical experience using AI/ML-powered security tools for threat detection and automated response
