IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

Protecting and strengthening the corporate technology environment, the full-time IT Security Engineer will manage security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and compliance support, while working remotely with occasional travel for company meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security controls across corporate endpoints, networks, and access systems
• Administer and monitor security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and identity management
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support compliance audits and certifications

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in information security or cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Strong knowledge of endpoint, network, and data security practices
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and SOC 2
• Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and supporting audits
