IT Security Generalist

Job Summary

To support a growing IT and Security team, the full-time remote IT Security Generalist will manage identity and endpoint administration, maintain automation workflows, and respond to security operations while focusing on exception handling and system improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Administer identities in Okta and manage the MacBook fleet through the MDM platform
• Maintain and extend automation workflows for lifecycle, monitoring, and reporting processes
• Respond to security alerts, investigate events, and support vulnerability management efforts

Required qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in IT, security operations, or systems administration
• Working knowledge of identity systems (such as Okta) and macOS administration
• Some scripting experience and familiarity with workflow automation tools and APIs
• Understanding of security fundamentals, including authentication and logging
• Ability to communicate effectively and take responsibility for system monitoring and issue resolution
