IT Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day security operations in a hybrid remote environment, the full-time IT Security Manager will manage security tooling and operations, coordinate with a managed security services provider, and drive vulnerability and identity/access management programs.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day security tooling and operations across the Microsoft security stack, including EDR/XDR and SIEM
• Lead the Daily Security Huddle and weekly Vulnerability Management meetings, driving vulnerability remediation to closure
• Manage the identity and access management program, including MFA and privileged access management

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in information security operations or engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools such as Defender for Endpoint and Sentinel
• Experience supporting SOC 2 Type II and/or HIPAA compliance programs
• Experience managing or partnering with a managed security services provider (MSSP)
• Proven ability to manage distributed teams across different locations
