IT Security Risk Director

Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, the full-time remote IT Security Risk Director will manage a team across the US and India, focusing on third-party cyber risk management, customer cybersecurity assessments, and the development of scalable risk capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies for assessing and mitigating cybersecurity risks from third parties and suppliers
• Oversee customer cybersecurity inquiries, assessments, and maintenance of the cyber risk register
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's security posture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or governance, with at least five years in a management role
• Proven experience in leading cybersecurity governance and third-party risk management programs
• Experience in building or maturing cyber governance, risk, and compliance capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and various teams
